ANWIL Wloclawek basketball players with ABC Empathy at children’s ward

On the International Day of Positive Thinking, “ABC of Empathy, for all we are all the same” books autographed by Anwil Wloclawek basketball players made their way to children from the Observation Ward of the Wloclawek Regional Hospital!

The event was part of a nationwide campaign organized by our foundation. Polish athletes and artists have been involved in the initiative targeting hospitals. Little patients from all over Poland have already received autographed books from, among others. Majka Jeżowska, Agnieszka Radwańska, Robert Kubica, Rafał Buszek, Bartek Zmarzlik, Artur Barcić or Olympic and Paralympic athletes sponsored by Orlen Sports Group.

This week, Anwil Wloclawek basketball players joined the noble circle of friends of ABC Empathy, who, after giving autographs, donated 100 copies of books to children from the Observation Ward of the Wloclawek Regional Hospital.

The campaign is part of the Czepczynski Family Foundation’s “1000/100” strategy, which uses its own statutory funds to equip educational facilities (public kindergartens and elementary schools) in 1,000 Polish municipalities (1 facility per municipality) and 100 hospitals with children’s wards for the project.
